Miss Americana

One of the world’s best-selling music artists and billionaire, Taylor Swift is certainly one of the women to follow, especially in 2024 and 2025.

She was born on Dec. 13, 1989, 5:17 am EST, West Reading, PA, at Reading hospital, according to her biographer Jill Parker in Tay: The Taylor Swift Story (2015). Alison Boulton has an article in the Nov-Dec 2024 issue of the free online Stellar Magazine, published by AA, in which she believes this birth information is correct. We do also, but for different reasons. Since we use many asteroids and other objects (735 in the main chart), not to mention over 500 fixed stars, as seen here, talking about a “completely unaspected” Sun in a chart is rather shortsighted, if not a circumvention of what should be considered by a serious astrologer doing chart interpretations.

I’ll mention a few interesting placements in her chart, a few transits, etc., but this presentation of the chart I hope astrologers will look at, the specially selected objects we use, the Astrolog implementation of some of these, all calculated by the gold-standard JPL Horizons real time API, and a beautiful aspect grid to see her Sun is definitely aspected, as well as Venus, despite the avoidance of 99.99% of the Solar System and the so-called “minor aspects” that we know to be quite significant in chart analysis.

We use the Meridian House System (the default) in all chart representations for reasons given here in this article. The planetary structure is adjusted with respect to the precise longitude of birth, which astrological software does not honor, unfortunately, except in regard to local apparent sidereal time, from which conversion formula the angles of the chart are determined (a different math formula, yes, from the other one). With this house system, you’ll notice the TNO Typhon exactly conjunct Taylor’s 7th House cusp (WP), of which is indicative of problematic relationships, especially with the opposite gender and with commitments and affection involved. Another striking conjunction is Asmodeus, “King of demons” and his wife Black Moon Lilith (BML), with Hebe, “Divine Bride” of Heracles, close by. This conjunction can be seen in the rapist, misogynist, wannabe dictator’s chart here, and it’s found as well in other charts of well-known individuals of questionable character.

In the case of women with this signature, the energy denoted is often projected rather than identified with on a conscious level. It can be seen in other placements as well, for example, the Sun and Lilith-the-asteroid conjunction, the Taguacipa-Truth conjunction to the 1st House cusp (EP) opposing Typhon. These latter two objects or entities can’t be more antithetical and disharmonious together, and usually it’s a sign of an in-the-face war going on pretty much all the time between Light and Darkness, deception and honesty, truth and lies, etc. This is, BTW, what advanced souls are born with and deal with throughout life, sometimes ending in a crucifixion of one type or another.

In Taylor’s chart we see offsetting, benefic influences as well - Mercury exactly conjunct Quetzalcoatl, associated with Venus, the “Morning star” and Lucifer, the Light-bearer, the latter conjunct the TNO 2002XW93 (“Bride of the Triumphant Messiah” 2010EN65. Apollo, “Foster parent of Chiron,” exactly conjunct Jupiter, Varda, “Queen of the stars,” exactly conjunct the soon-to-be-nova T Coronae Borealis (T CrB), nicknamed the “Blaze Star” (natal position - 19° Sco 57'32.57").

Three transits of significance are: 1) On Sep. 10, 2024, Taylor endorsed Kamala Harris on Instagram with the Moon ingressing her 1st House (EP), 16:03 UT to be exact, 2) Nov. 4, 2024, Venus was conjunct her Sun exactly, and she chose to watch Travis Kelce and the Chiefs beat the Buccaneers instead of at a Kamala rally, and 3) Pluto will exactly conjunct her Venus on Jan. 25, 2025, 9:30 UT. With her Proserpina in 22° Tau 37', the most transformational degree of the Zodiac, disposited by Venus, this seems to presage an Event like she’s never experienced!
